Our story
2017: Founded in Miami, Florida by Alexey Kruglov and Sergey Fedorov with a mission to make solar equipment accessible across North America.
2018: First customers in the solar industry. Built the foundation of our distribution network and supplier relationships.
2019: Official partnerships with leading manufacturers opened. We became an authorised distributor for key global brands.
2020: Platform launch. Expanded the online catalogue and fulfilment infrastructure to serve growing demand across the US.
2022: Reached 7,300+ customers. Launched A1 Solar Magazine and the annual student scholarship.
2023: Expanded to the Caribbean market. Grew the team and strengthened manufacturer partnerships across 50+ brands.
2025: Launched Pro Account & Services, a two-sided platform giving contractors access to client leads and customers a direct route to qualified installers.
2026: Europe launch. A1 SolarStore brings its distribution model to the European market, serving installers and homeowners across the continent.
The people behind A1 SolarStore
*CEO — ***Alexey Kruglov **— Alexey started A1 SolarStore in 2017 with a background in construction and real estate. What began as a North American distribution platform now serves customers across three regions. He oversees global strategy and the expansion into new markets.
*Co-founder & CTO — ***Sergey Fedorov **— Sergey has a master's degree in Science and Marketing and years of experience across entrepreneurial ventures. He built the platform that now serves thousands of customers in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. He lives in Luxembourg and leads the European side of the business.
*Business Manager ***Tatiana Ivanova **— Tatiana joined A1 SolarStore as a bookkeeper and grew into the Business Manager role, overseeing the processes behind international fulfilment and customer service. With the European launch, her work now spans both US and EU operations.
