About product
APsystems’ YC1000-3-480 is the industry’s very first true three-phase microinverter, purpose-built for commercial 277 Y/480 V grids. A single unit energizes up to four PV modules and delivers a balanced 900 W of AC power, all while communicating wirelessly via Zigbee and carrying its own integrated ground connection for simpler wiring. Thanks to robust natural-convection cooling inside a NEMA 6 sealed enclosure, the YC1000-3 is engineered for harsh rooftops and extreme temperatures from –40 °C to 65 °C. A standard 10-year warranty—extendable to 25 years—underscores APsystems’ confidence in long-term reliability.
Scalability is where the YC1000-3 really shines. Because each inverter manages four modules, you can link up to 44 solar panels on a single 15 A three-phase branch circuit—a layout that slashes trunk-cable runs and balance-of-system costs in large arrays. Wide MPPT tracking from 16 – 55 V and a generous 14.8 A per-input current limit mean compatibility with today’s high-power 60- and 72-cell (as well as 120/144 half-cell) modules, while peak efficiency hits a solid 95 % with 99.9 % MPPT accuracy.
Installation is streamlined: plug-and-play connectors, integrated ground-fault protection, and no phase balancing required reduce labor time on-site. The inverter meets UL 1741, IEEE 1547 and FCC Part 15 EMC standards, ensuring rapid-shutdown and grid-support compliance for U.S. jurisdictions.
