About Fronius

Fronius's story started 75 (!) years ago with Günter Fronius, an Austrian repair and maintenance man, who built a device for recharging car batteries so that they could be used for longer. Step by step, he and his family managed to turn their small repair shop into a huge company, which is well-known on the global stage today. This is the commitment to innovation, quality, and service which allows already the third generation of Günter’s family to maintain and amplify the company’s success.

Apart from welding and charging solutions, the company offers a range of solar products for both commercial and residential needs. Fronius has been producing solar power inverters for more than 25 years, which are famous for their exceptional durability and reliability.

Easy monitoring

Fronius inverters are equipped with on-board Wi-Fi which allows connecting them to the house network. The company’s Solar.Web online and mobile platform enables the users to monitor their production figures via the Internet or mobile app from anywhere in the world.

High compatibility

It is easy to connect Fronius inverters to components from third party suppliers. The open SunSpec Modbus TCP, RTU (RS485) and JSON protocols provide a simple way of establishing a data connection to other systems such as BMS, SCADA and home automation.

Quick installation

Perfect safety
