Morningstar’s TriStar PWM controller provides safe battery charging, load control and diversion regulation in your system. One unit operates in one of these three modes at a time, but several regulators can do all of them at once. 

TS-45 has 45A current rating at 12-48 volts. It is fully adjustable with 7 different digital presets. The controller is quiet, simple to use and meets all necessary safety standards. You can connect it to your personal computer for remote control, custom settings and data logs.

I actually bought two of those: one is a charger and one is a load control. Not that expensive actually! These controllers are so simple, I barely looked at the manual.

Thank you guys! I had my doubts, but the staff from a1solar explained to me how to size a controller for the system and this is what i ended up choosing. and yeah, it fits my solar like a glove!

The controller is absolutely fine. It is a good price and it does well. at least my battery doesn’t get overcharged like it used to, so i hope this one will last longer than my last.
