TAMKO Moisture Guard Ice & Rain Modified Bitumen Roof Underlayment is a professional-grade, self-adhering underlayment engineered to provide superior protection beneath shingles, shakes, tile, slate, or composite roofing. Each 36 in × 64 ft roll covers 193.5 sq ft and is designed with a fiberglass-reinforced, SBS-modified asphalt membrane surfaced with mineral granules and a split-release film for clean handling during installation.

Because the underlayment is made from rubberized asphalt and fiberglass, it does not absorb water or wrinkle like traditional felt. The membrane resists mold growth and provides reliable secondary moisture protection in areas prone to wind-driven rain and ice damming. Moisture Guard offers enhanced durability and high-wind resistance, performing even under heavy roof traffic and harsh weather conditions.

Moisture Guard is lightweight and can be easily handled by roofing crews. Its mineral-surfaced face provides a slip-resistant walking surface to enhance safety on steep slopes, and the split-release film simplifies alignment and adhesion.
