The 90kW Solar System are out of stock
Subscribe to updates – we'll let you know when 90kW Solar System are back in stock. Normally, we update products every 2 weeks.
A solar system can be a great addition to your business if you want to become less dependent on electric utilities and their policies. In the times when electricity gets more expensive, investing in a system that generates clean energy all day long is a smart decision that brings profit in the long term. In this section of our website you can find a complete 90kW solar system — our engineers picked the components so that they function well together.
Systems of commercial and industrial scope are for most part ground-based grid-tie installations. Grid-tie configuration means that your system is connected to the grid and you can use solar energy and electricity from the commercial grid at the same time. You can even sell solar energy to your utility to make your electric meter go backwards. It’s called net metering and it's the main way in which a system pays for itself.
Grid-tie systems have the least components. You only need solar panels and inverters. To build a 90000 watt solar system you would need from 150 to 250 PV modules, depending on their wattage. If space is an issue, you can go for bifacial solar panels. Their active rear side also generates electricity and gives a bonus to the production of the front side. However, proper installation is very important for them since you’ll have to increase the reflectivity of a surface to make the bifacial gain higher. The 90kw solar system size will in the end depend on the panels that you’ll choose.
The production of your system depends on the weather, positioning and angle of your panels, number of sun hours in the area, shading and, of course, the properties of the panels themselves. In summer panels produce around 50% more energy than in winter. So how much does a 90kw solar system produce per day? In California in June it may generate 450-550 kWh daily, whereas in New York its daily production should be closer to 300-350 kWh.
While grid-tie configuration is the most common choice, hybrid and off-grid designs are also an option. You’ll have to figure out the way to add a battery bank to your installation though. The problem with a 90kw solar system with batteries is getting storage of a capacity that is large enough. Battery storage provides backup during power outages in the grid but it greatly increases your expenses.
The construction of PV systems of a large scale is a long and expensive process. It may take up to a year to complete, and the majority of time you and your installer will spend obtaining necessary permits and papers from the authorities.
The cost of 90kw solar system heavily depends on its design and the panels that you’ll use. Chinese solar panels are the most common choice for large systems because they are cheap and efficient. Jinko, JA, Trina, LONGi Solar are the leaders on the solar markets. North American-made panels from brands like Canadian Solar, Mission Solar, Silfab, Aptos Solar are slightly more expensive, but their warranties are generally better.
The configuration is also going to impact your expenses. Grid-tie 90kw solar system kit only has to have panels and inverters and because of that it’s the cheapest option, besides it gives an option of net metering. Hybrid kits require a high-tech inverter and energy storage. Off-grid systems of such a scope are a rarity since batteries greatly increase your 90kw solar system price and net metering is not available.
We offer systems of different designs for all kinds of applications. Our managers are there for you to provide any information about the components of our systems, warranties and delivery options.
