What's the physical size and will it fit my battery enclosure?
A1 SolarStore
The SAES-06-375 uses a standard large deep-cycle footprint (approximately 10.3" L × 7.1" W × 10.9" H—verify exact dimensions in technical specifications). While it shares similar length and width with other GC-series batteries, it's taller and significantly heavier than standard golf cart batteries. Measure your enclosure carefully, accounting for cable clearance and ventilation space. The non-spillable design allows horizontal mounting if vertical clearance is limited. The SAES-06-375 uses a standard large deep-cycle footprint (approximately 10.3" L × 7.1" W × 10.9" H—verify exact dimensions in technical specifications). Why would I choose this over multiple smaller batteries?
A1 SolarStore
Fewer batteries mean fewer connection points, which reduces potential failure points, minimizes voltage drop, and simplifies installation and maintenance. For example, a 48V/728Ah bank requires 8 SAES-06-375 batteries versus 12 SAES-06-220 batteries—that's 4 fewer batteries to purchase, install, monitor, and eventually replace. In large systems, the reduced complexity and installation labor often offset the higher per-battery cost.Fewer batteries mean fewer connection points, which reduces potential failure points, minimizes voltage drop, and simplifies installation and maintenance. What does "Advanced Energy Storage" (AES) technology mean?
A1 SolarStore
AES refers to Trojan's specialized plate chemistry and construction that resists sulfation damage during partial state of charge operation. Standard batteries degrade rapidly when left at 60-80% charge for extended periods—a common scenario in solar systems during cloudy weather. The SAES-06-375's AES technology allows it to handle these conditions for days or weeks without the permanent capacity loss that destroys conventional batteries, extending lifespan by years in real-world renewable energy applications.AES refers to Trojan's specialized plate chemistry and construction that resists sulfation damage during partial state of charge operation. About product

Trojan's SAES-06-375 features proprietary Advanced Energy Storage (AES) technology delivering up to 3x the cycle life of standard AGM batteries—validated at 1,200 cycles at 100% depth of discharge versus 400 cycles for conventional AGM. The "S" in SAES stands for Solar—this high-capacity 6V maintenance-free sealed AGM battery is specifically engineered to handle the unpredictable charging patterns that solar and wind systems create. It thrives in Partial State of Charge (PSoC) conditions when cloudy weather prevents full daily recharging or when systems experience deep overnight discharges. Its non-spillable VRLA construction allows horizontal mounting in challenging locations and operates in extreme temperatures from -40°F to 160°F (-40°C to 71°C). The sealed AGM design requires zero maintenance—no watering, no hassle—making it ideal for large-scale off-grid installations where service access is impractical. With 364Ah capacity and approximately 2.18 kWh total energy output, the SAES-06-375 delivers exceptional energy storage for residential off-grid homes, commercial facilities, telecommunications infrastructure, marine vessels, luxury RVs, and renewable energy applications requiring maximum capacity with minimal maintenance.

Key applications

  • Large off-grid solar systems – residential homes, commercial facilities, and industrial sites requiring substantial energy storage capacity for extended autonomy.
  • Telecommunications and data centers – critical infrastructure requiring reliable backup power with long runtime capabilities.
  • Remote industrial installations – mining operations, oil and gas monitoring, water treatment facilities, and remote manufacturing sites.
  • Commercial renewable energy storage – solar farms, hybrid power systems, and grid-tied installations with battery backup.
  • Marine and yacht systems – large house battery banks for extended cruising and live-aboard vessels requiring maximum capacity.
  • RV and motorhome luxury systems – high-end recreational vehicles with extensive power demands for full off-grid capability.
  • Emergency backup power – hospitals, emergency services, and critical facilities requiring extended runtime during outages.
  • Agricultural operations – remote irrigation systems, greenhouses, and farm operations relying on solar power.
