It’s too soon to write a review, but so far the IQ8 looks great. The 25 year warranty is a huge advantage compared to the standard warranties for string inverters. I hope not to use it, but it gives some peace of mind

This is a MUST for any solar panels that use Enphase microinverters. An expensive solar energy system should be continuously monitored for correct operation and ongoing maintenance. The Envoy is a very effective tool to check the condition of all microinverters used in the solar array. Highly recommended.

The material of the box is very durable. The components inside are protected from the elements and there is a specifically designed vent on the left side. The Envoy IQ is already installed, and all this for a reasonable price. I couldn’t have made a better purchase.

While microinverters do not necessarily need Envoy, it is recommended to have, as it allows you to adjust the inverters and monitor the panels. Without it, microinverters just run on default settings. They work, but Envoy gives you more control.
