It’s too soon to write a review, but so far the IQ8 looks great. The 25 year warranty is a huge advantage compared to the standard warranties for string inverters. I hope not to use it, but it gives some peace of mind

This is a MUST for any solar panels that use Enphase microinverters. An expensive solar energy system should be continuously monitored for correct operation and ongoing maintenance. The Envoy is a very effective tool to check the condition of all microinverters used in the solar array. Highly recommended.

The material of the box is very durable. The components inside are protected from the elements and there is a specifically designed vent on the left side. The Envoy IQ is already installed, and all this for a reasonable price. I couldn’t have made a better purchase.

Delivering 97.5% CEC-weighted efficiency and 97.8% peak efficiency, the IQ8P-3P maximizes power conversion while maintaining stability under varying conditions. The unit is built to last, featuring over a million hours of reliability testing and a rugged polymeric housing rated for harsh environments. Its double-insulated, fanless design ensures quiet, efficient operation with minimal maintenance needs.

Grid-interactive and smart grid ready

With built-in support for advanced grid functionalities such as Volt-Var, Volt-Watt, and Frequency-Watt control, the IQ8P-3P meets the latest CA Rule 21 and UL 1741-SB requirements. It’s capable of remote firmware updates via the Enphase App, ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving grid standards. The system automatically adapts to multiple grid profiles for deployment flexibility across regions.

Seamless integration and monitoring

Using Power Line Communication (PLC), the IQ8P-3P seamlessly connects with the IQ Gateway Commercial 2 and Enphase App for real-time performance tracking, diagnostics, and analytics. Installers and owners benefit from simplified commissioning, remote oversight, and centralized energy management across multi-inverter systems.

Safe, weatherproof, and installation-ready

The IQ8P-3P’s NEMA Type 6/IP67-rated enclosure offers full protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for outdoor mounting in any climate. With plug-and-play EN4 connectors and Stäubli MC4 adapter cables, installation is fast and straightforward.
