It’s too soon to write a review, but so far the IQ8 looks great. The 25 year warranty is a huge advantage compared to the standard warranties for string inverters. I hope not to use it, but it gives some peace of mind

This is a MUST for any solar panels that use Enphase microinverters. An expensive solar energy system should be continuously monitored for correct operation and ongoing maintenance. The Envoy is a very effective tool to check the condition of all microinverters used in the solar array. Highly recommended.

Built for high-voltage modules, the IQ8X supports an MPPT range of 43–60V and operates up to 79.5V DC maximum input, ensuring compatibility with the latest PV technologies. It delivers up to 380 VA continuous output power at 240V and 360 VA at 208V, maintaining exceptional conversion efficiency with minimal power loss—ideal for residential and small commercial solar systems.

Intelligent monitoring and integration

Using Power Line Communication (PLC), the IQ8X integrates seamlessly with the IQ Gateway and Enphase App for real-time performance monitoring, diagnostics, and grid compliance reporting. Automatic remote firmware updates keep systems up to date with evolving utility requirements, while the intuitive Enphase platform enables system owners to monitor energy production anywhere, anytime.

Durable, efficient, and silent operation

With over one million hours of reliability testing, the IQ8X is engineered for long-term performance under harsh conditions. The NEMA 6/IP67-rated polymeric enclosure resists corrosion, moisture, and UV exposure, while natural convection cooling ensures silent, fanless operation. The unit is approved for wet locations and designed to operate from -40°F to 149°F.

Safe and compliant by design

The IQ8X meets all major U.S. and Canadian safety standards, including UL 62109-1, UL 1741-SA/SB, and CSA C22.2. It is UL-listed as PV rapid shutdown equipment and fully compliant with NEC 2014, 2017, 2020, and 2023 rapid shutdown codes, ensuring safe installation and operation for all system configurations.
