whats not to like? 440w punch per panel truckload filled my lot fast. Bifacial bonus in snowy PA—melts right off.
These Hyundai 440W bifacials are beasts. Put up 200 on my warehouse roof last summer and output beats my old panels by 25%. All black looks slick no glare. Truckload deal saved big.

This was my first purchase of common size solar panels ( i purchased few 100w from Amazon before). Tanya at A1 Solar was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Biggest concern for me was if i can load and unload and deliver the panels 280 miles round trip in Uhaul van:). By any means it was a major undertaking. All worked out beautifully and the panels just so pretty and intact:). I can definitely recommend A1 Solar for your DIY solar system project.

Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. In the event, the product is only available on East or West coast custom quote will be sent to you before the order is processed. Normally, we are able to deliver solar panels within 7 business days.

What are the dimensions of the panel?

How long is the warranty on the panel?
In general, manufacturers provide a 25 year-long performance warranty and a 10 year-long equipment guarantee. Some manufacturers offer 12-15 years of warranty. More information is available in our warranty support section.
Which panels do you recommend for RV, marine?
We recommend Panasonic and Mission Solar panels for smaller systems as their high energy output and excellent craftsmanship guarantee years of service.
Can this panel be used with a 12v system?
Any of our panels can be used for a 12v system with a properly selected inverter and charge controller.
Can I pick up this panel from your fulfillment center to save on shipping?

How do I connect these panels?
To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.

This number is determined by your average energy needs. Depending on the type of panels and energy consumption, you might need anywhere from 12 to 45 solar panels. Can I build a solar system by myself as a Do It Yourself project?
Yes, it is possible if you understand what solar equipment you need and how to connect it together. However, please be mindful that handling your own electrical work without having proper experience might cause life-threatening injuries. Please contact a certified electrician if you do not possess appropriate electrical skills.
Can I connect and charge my solar panel battery directly with the solar panel?
We do not recommend using the solar panel without the charge controller. Using solar panels without the charge controller might damage the batteries.
Can I drill holes into the aluminum frame for mounting?
We do not recommend drilling any new holes to the aluminum frame of the panel as it could damage the internal circuit and solar cells. (Also, any modification to the panel will void the warranty). We recommend only using the pre-drilled holes for mounting.
Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panel?
Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.
Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?
While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.
Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?
Solar panels cannot produce electricity if covered with snow.

Hyundai HiS-T640NJ is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. Hyundai engineers designed the NJ series to be durable and efficient, while minimizing the amount of space required for their operation. Each of the panel’s 156 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants HiS-T640NJ lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance.
At 22.9% efficiency, HiS-T640NJ offers surprising performance for its weight and size. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Hyundai provides an industry-leading 30-year performance warranty and a 12-year product warranty.

The N-Type TOPCon cell technology further improves an already excellent efficiency of 22.9 percent. A reliable PID resistance and a unique glass lamination were added by the maker, which ultimately produced a model that was effective and extremely durable. HiS-T640NJ produces 640 W of power under typical test settings.
Keeping cool in high temperatures
HiS-T640NJ manages to stay efficient even at high temperatures. For every 1.8°F above 77°F, it loses just -0.29% in efficiency, allowing you to make the most of the sunniest hours.
High-quality standards
Hyundai's stringent production requirements include various tests to guarantee high quality. The facilities are highly automated, allowing the manufacturer to maintain high standards while keeping warranty claims to a minimum.
Reliability and degradation resistance
Hyundai guarantees slow deterioration over the next 30 years. The performance will decline by no more than 1% during the first year and then by no more than 0.4% every year after that. After 30 years, your modules will retain at least 87.40% of their original performance. This 640 W Hyundai solar panel also comes with a substantial 12-year product warranty.
A panel that can handle hail, wind, and snow
The 1.2" frame made from anodized aluminum alloy and a layer of protective tempered glass make this module resistant to the foulest of weather. The front side of the modules can resist a 5400 Pa load, and the back side 2400 Pa.
