SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 50 kW String Inverter

We purchased this inverter from A1solarstore four months ago for our parking complex and since we’ve promised them a review, here it is. Overall, we are satisfied with the delivery and performance. The installation indeed was simpler than we anticipated. Our system is only 40 kW and the inverter handles it well. It is somewhat loud, but honestly, it’s not much of a problem for us. One of our employees can manage it though his smartphone, but so far there was simply no need for it.

The SMA "-41" Series Sunny Boy inverter, featuring SunSpec signal transmitter chip, is one of the most versatile residential inverters available. Combine this series with the SMA-TS4-R-F in order to build cost effective NEC 2017 PV RSS compliant string systems, or pair with SMA-TS4-R "-S" / "-O" (and comms gateway) to provide module level monitoring / optimization (respectively).
