The IQ8PLUS is the wider-compatibility variant in the IQ8 Series, extending module pairing up to 440W and supporting 66-cell and 72-cell formats that the standard IQ8 does not accommodate. Its 29–45V MPPT range and 60V maximum input voltage are sized for the higher open-circuit voltages common in 72-cell panels, making it the appropriate IQ8-series choice for installations using current-generation high-power residential modules. At 97.6% peak efficiency, conversion losses at the module level are minimal, and per-module maximum power point tracking means shading or mismatch on one panel does not reduce output from the rest of the array.
Natural convection cooling eliminates the only mechanical wear component found in fan-cooled inverters.
