does this need the internet to work??

Optimization and rapid shutdown function locally. Internet is only needed for cloud monitoring, alerts, and remote visibility.

The Tigo Energy TS4-A-O Module-Level PV Optimizer boosts array output, adds module-level monitoring, and enables rapid shutdown compliance. Designed for today’s high-power modules (up to 22A Isc / 16A Imp), it installs quickly on the frame or racking and works with most string inverters for flexible system design.

Open, inverter-agnostic design

An IP68 enclosure withstands heat, cold, dust, and driving rain. With wireless 2.4 GHz and/or PLC communications, commissioning is fast and ongoing monitoring is reliable.

Installer-friendly

Compact hardware snaps on quickly, with clearly labeled MC4/EVO2 connectors and straightforward commissioning through the Tigo Energy Intelligence app.
