Boral TileSeal HT Modified Asphalt Roof Underlayment is a professional-grade roof underlayment engineered to provide superior protection beneath shingles, shakes, tile, or metal roofing. Each 36 in × 72 ft roll covers 216 sq ft and is designed with a high-strength, nonwoven polyester surface that resists tears during installation. This modified-asphalt construction is designed to lay flat and provides a slip-resistant walking surface to enhance safety and ease of use during installation.
Because the underlayment is made from durable rubberized asphalt, it does not absorb water or wrinkle like traditional felt. The material resists mold growth, ensuring a dry and stable roof deck. The high-performance formulation offers excellent wind resistance and durability even during heavy roof traffic and harsh weather conditions.
TileSeal HT is lightweight enough for easy handling by roofing crews, with a nominal weight of 70 lb per roll. Its advanced backside non-slip coating and UV exposure resistance of up to 180 days allow for faster, wrinkle-free installation and longer-lasting protection for the roof deck until the primary roofing material is applied.
