Among the newest offerings of Hyundai, HiS-S595 is part of the OJ series. These panels use state-of-the-art technology to achieve high efficiency and dependability. The Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology ensures excellent power output. This solar cell type employs an additional reflective layer to absorb more sunlight.
To further boost the performance, Hyundai employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 156 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants HiS-S595 lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. The efficiency of this model reaches 22.5% — well above the market’s average. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Hyundai provides 12 years of product warranty and guarantees that after 25 years, performance will be at 85.04% or more.
The PERC technology further improves an already excellent efficiency of 22.5 percent. A reliable PID resistance and a unique glass lamination were added by the maker, which ultimately produced a model that was effective and extremely durable. HiS-S595 produces 595 W of power under typical test settings.
Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. HiS-S595 loses just -0.34% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.
Multiple tests are part of the Hyundai tight production requirements, which offer the highest level of quality assurance. Because of the facilities' high degree of automation, the business is able to uphold strict standards and minimize the number of warranty claims to an absolute minimum.
In the first year of service, these panels will lose no more than 2% of their power output. The average yearly power drop from the second to the 25th year will be no more than 0.54%. After 25 years, the modules will retain more than 85.04% of their initial output.
PID, salt, acid and ammonia cannot harm HiS-S595. Furthermore, it has a mechanical load resistance of up to 5400 Pa in the front and 3000 Pa in the back. A layer of protective glass and 1.38" thick anodized aluminum alloy frame are the primary reasons for its toughness.
