Meyer Burger MB-390-HJT120-BB-T2 is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. Meyer Burger engineers made the Black series durable and efficient while minimizing the amount of useful space required for their operation. This heterojunction panel employs SmartWire Connection Technology (SWCT™) that allows it to capture more energy.
Each panel’s 120 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants MB-390-HJT120-BB-T2 lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. At 21.2% efficiency, MB-390-HJT120-BB-T2 offers surprising performance for its weight and size. The cell surface, back foil, and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. Meyer Burger provides 25 years of product warranty and guarantees that after 25 years, performance will be at 92% or more.
Meyer Burger Black panels fully use the firm's innovations, which Meyer Burger has received several distinctions for. With SWCT™ technology, more electricity can be produced per square foot of PV modules. As a result, there will be fewer clamps and racks required during installation. All of which lowers your overall expenses and accelerates the payback period.
The heat is less of a threat with this module: with one of the lowest temperature coefficients in the industry, MB-390-HJT120-BB-T2 loses just -0.26% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

MB-390-HJT120-BB-T2 is resistant to PID, salt, acid and ammonia. It can also withstand up to 6000 Pa mechanical load on the front and 4000 Pa on the back. Such robustness is mainly due to the 1.4" thick anodized aluminum frame and a layer of protective glass.
The panel features an all-black design which looks great on any roof. The manufacturer ensures excellent cell color through special treatment and selection processes. Meyer Burger engineers use thinner wires to connect the cells together, and at a distance the surface of the modules appears smooth and uninterrupted.
