Canadian Solar CS3U-355PB-AG is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. Canadian Solar engineered the BiKu series to deliver durable, high-yield performance while minimizing the footprint required for their operation.

CS3U-355PB-AG employs polycrystalline silicon cells arranged in a half-cut, multi-busbar configuration. Each of the model's 144 half-cut cells is connected using either 5BB or MBB busbar technology, reducing internal resistance and improving shading tolerance compared to standard full-cell panels.

The use of half-cut cell technology is an additional perk. The solar cells of CS3U-355PB-AG are half the size of those found in standard panels. Major advantages include reduced internal current, lower hot spot temperatures, and enhanced resistance to micro-cracks and snail trails. The module reaches a front-side efficiency of 17.70%. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, this bifacial glass-glass module employs both sides at the same time. CS3U-355PB-AG is a new generation bifacial module capable of harvesting sunlight from both the front and back surfaces simultaneously. Depending on ground albedo and installation height, the rear side can contribute up to an additional 30% in power output, pushing effective output as high as 462 W under high-gain conditions.

A low temperature coefficient translates to more energy as the temperature rises. Every 1.8°F increase over 77°F reduces the efficiency of your panel by just -0.37%, with a Nominal Module Operating Temperature of 42 ± 3°C.
