The panels preform as expected. I purchase 12, was liking for 5200watts. Hit that when aligned with the sun.
outstanding, powered my rv full time all fall Lightweight easy to handle solo almost
A1Solar had excellent YouTube videos specific specific to DIY. (Spot on explanations, everything from why, to how, to comparisons, just loads of info.) -When I compared prices, I happy to see they were super competitive -Pickup was easy peasy. -Five big gold stars for me. -Again the hook was YouTube videos, great place to start, ended w/loyal customer. -Very professional service and customer help, just a very nice outfit to do business with.
nice panels. Bifacial boost real on my light roof. Output over 445W easy. Install was straightforward.
backside gain depends on roof color but still a plus

About product

Among the offerings of Trina Solar, TSM-DEG19RC.20-560 is part of the Vertex bifacial dual glass series. This monocrystalline module combines high power output with a bifacial design that captures sunlight on both sides, generating up to 25% additional power from the back side depending on the albedo of the surface below.

Multi-busbar technology improves light trapping, lowers series resistance and boosts current collection across the 132 cells, bringing the module efficiency up to 20.7%. Trina Solar provides a 12-year product workmanship warranty and a 30-year power warranty, guaranteeing that after 30 years, performance will be at 84.95% or more.

  • 560 W power output
  • 132 monocrystalline cells
  • 20.7% efficiency
  • Bifacial dual glass construction
  • 1500 V DC maximum system voltage
  • 12-year product and 30-year power warranties

Extra power from the back side

Thanks to its bifacial dual glass design, this panel converts light reflected from the ground into additional energy. Depending on albedo, the back side can add up to 25% more power, with a power bifaciality of 70±5%. The design also optimizes energy production under inter-row shading conditions, making it a strong fit for ground-mounted and tracker systems.

Improved performance at hot temperatures

A low temperature coefficient translates to more energy as the temperature rises. Every 1.8°F increase over 77°F reduces the efficiency of your panel by just -0.34%. The module operates in temperatures from -40°F to 185°F.

Quality and reliability

TSM-DEG19RC.20-560 holds IEC 61215, IEC 61730 and UL 61730 certifications. It is also tested for salt mist corrosion (IEC 61701) and ammonia corrosion (IEC 62716), making it suitable for coastal and agricultural sites. Trina Solar's manufacturing is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 45001 standards. Innovative non-destructive cutting technology minimizes micro-cracks, and PID resistance is ensured through the cell process and module material control.

Low degradation for increased longevity

In the first year of service, these panels will lose no more than 2% of their power output. After that, annual degradation is limited to 0.45%. After 30 years, the modules will retain 84.95% or more of their initial output.

Built for harsh environments

This module is protected by two layers of 0.08" heat strengthened glass, with an anti-reflective, high transmission front glass, held in a 1.18" anodized aluminum alloy frame. The front and rear sides can withstand loads of 5400 and 2400 Pa, respectively. It is resistant to salt, ammonia, sand, high temperature and high humidity, and the junction box is IP68 rated.

FAQ

How much is shipping and how long is delivery?
Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. In the event, the product is only available on East or West coast custom quote will be sent to you before the order is processed. Normally, we are able to deliver solar panels within 7 business days.
What is the difference between low price panels and top price panels?
With top tier solar panels, you pay for the brand name, proprietary new technology, higher energy output, and better warranty support.
What are the dimensions of the panel?
Please refer to the product datasheet on the product page. We have a datasheet for every product we sell.
How long is the warranty on the panel?
In general, manufacturers provide a 25 year-long performance warranty and a 10 year-long equipment guarantee. Some manufacturers offer 12-15 years of warranty. More information is available in our warranty support section.
Which panels do you recommend for RV, marine?
We recommend Panasonic and Mission Solar panels for smaller systems as their high energy output and excellent craftsmanship guarantee years of service.
Can this panel be used with a 12v system?
Any of our panels can be used for a 12v system with a properly selected inverter and charge controller.
Can I pick up this panel from your fulfillment center to save on shipping?
Yes, we can set up a pick up at a local distributor. Please call to discuss options and stock availability.
How do I connect these panels?
To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.
How many panels do I need?
This number is determined by your average energy needs. Depending on the type of panels and energy consumption, you might need anywhere from 12 to 45 solar panels. Remember, the more panels you install the more energy you will get. Please use our solar calculator to estimate your energy consumption and plan on building a solar system that will exceed your energy needs by 25%.
How do I build a solar system?
Please use our solar calculator to estimate what equipment you need. Choose your panels, microinverters, inverters, and solar batteries if necessary. Please note that we do not offer solar system design or installation.
How do solar panels compare?
Solar panels differ by power output, voltage, connection type, size, efficiency, and weight. Some solar panels might be sold together with microinverters as a set.
Can I build a solar system by myself as a Do It Yourself project?
Yes, it is possible if you understand what solar equipment you need and how to connect it together. However, please be mindful that handling your own electrical work without having proper experience might cause life-threatening injuries. Please contact a certified electrician if you do not possess appropriate electrical skills.
Can I connect and charge my solar panel battery directly with the solar panel?
We do not recommend using the solar panel without the charge controller. Using solar panels without the charge controller might damage the batteries.
Can I drill holes into the aluminum frame for mounting?
We do not recommend drilling any new holes to the aluminum frame of the panel as it could damage the internal circuit and solar cells. (Also, any modification to the panel will void the warranty). We recommend only using the pre-drilled holes for mounting.
Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panel?
Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.
Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?
While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.
Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?
Solar panels cannot produce electricity if covered with snow.
What is the best direction for a solar panel to face?
The best direction for a solar panel to face is the South
