The 7kWh Solar Backup: SimpliPHI 48V LiFePO4 Battery 5kW SRNE Hybrid Inverter ESS Kit is a pre-engineered solar battery backup system for home use, bundling a 6.65kWh LiFePO4 battery module, a 5,000W hybrid inverter, and a dedicated battery controller — every component confirmed compatible and ready to install together. Offered through A1 SolarStore as a matched set, this energy storage system eliminates the compatibility research and sourcing friction that comes with assembling a backup power system from separate parts.

Building a home energy storage system from individual components means verifying inverter voltage compatibility, battery communication protocols, controller firmware, and charge-rate limits — then hoping everything works together on first power-up. This kit removes that process entirely. The SimpliPHI 6.6 Battery and the SRNE HF4850U80-H share a matched 48V architecture, and the Briggs & Stratton Battery Controller bridges them over CAN or RS485 so the inverter manages charge and discharge cycles automatically — no additional configuration required.
The SimpliPHI 6.6 Battery connects to the SRNE HF4850U80-H on the 48V DC bus; the Briggs & Stratton Battery Controller links the two over CAN or RS485, enabling the inverter to read real-time battery state and regulate charging from PV, grid, or generator sources automatically. Solar panels feed into the inverter’s single MPPT input (120–450Vdc, up to 500Vdc OCV), which charges the 48V battery bank and simultaneously supplies connected loads at 120Vac. When grid or generator power is available (90–140Vac input), the inverter uses it as a secondary charge source or pass-through for loads during low-solar periods. The 10ms transfer switch keeps connected equipment running through brief outages. Buyers will also need DC and AC breakers, conduit, mounting hardware, and all interconnect wiring sized to their specific installation — contact our team for a custom equipment list before installation.
This kit takes the sourcing and compatibility work out of residential energy storage: every component is pre-matched and confirmed to operate together at 48V, so installation teams can focus on wiring rather than troubleshooting. The SimpliPHI 6.6 Battery’s LiFePO4 chemistry delivers up to 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and ≥96% round-trip efficiency — a meaningful lifespan advantage over standard lithium-ion cells. Paired with the SRNE HF4850U80-H’s 80A solar charging input and 5,000W continuous output, and managed by the Briggs & Stratton Battery Controller’s CAN/RS485 communication loop, this 7kWh Solar Backup kit available through A1 SolarStore is a complete, scalable solar battery backup system for home installations.
