The innovative under-mount frame design is a standout feature of the Series 6 Plus Bifacial. This durable anodized aluminum frame provides the cleaning and snow shedding benefits of a frameless module while protecting edges against breakage. The frame delivers a sleek, all-black aesthetic that's perfect for ground mount and carport installations. Novel design solutions include revolutionary SpeedSlot™ mounting features that deliver the industry's fastest installation times and lowest mounting hardware costs by combining the robustness of bottom mounting with the speed of top clamping. The dual junction box system further optimizes module-to-module connections and eliminates the need for wire management.

The company guarantees 98% of rated power at warranty start, with minimal degradation of just 0.6% annually after the first year, ensuring at least 80.6% of original performance after 30 years of operation.
An already impressive frontside efficiency of 17.9% is enhanced by anti-reflective coated glass, First Solar's advanced thin film technology, and now bifacial capability that captures reflected light from surfaces beneath the module. The bifaciality factor of 15±5% provides additional energy yield, particularly effective in ground mount and carport installations with reflective surfaces. The module is completely immune to Light Induced Degradation (LID) and Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LeTID) – power losses that plague crystalline silicon panels. Under standard test conditions, the FS-6450A-P-B delivers 450 W of reliable frontside power output, with up to 459 W when accounting for bifacial gain.
Exceptional performance as temperature rises is the hallmark of an excellent temperature coefficient. This 450 W bifacial First Solar panel also comes with a substantial 12-year product warranty, including the industry's first and only cell cracking warranty – protecting against manufacturing defects and power loss from cell cracking.
