About product
The Midnite Power MN15-12KW-AIO is a 10kW hybrid solar inverter charger that consolidates solar charging, battery management, and AC output into a single wall-mounted unit for residential and commercial installations. Operating at 48VDC with three independent MPPT inputs and full split-phase 120/240VAC output, the MN15-12KW-AIO eliminates the need for a separate charge controller, distribution panel, and external programmable load-shedding box—reducing both hardware cost and installation time.
Most hybrid inverter installations require a separate MPPT charge controller, a stand-alone distribution panel, and an external load-management device. The MN15-12KW-AIO integrates all three. Its three programmable 120/240VAC branch outputs—rated at 30A, 50A, and 60A—can be assigned to heavy loads for automated shedding or opportunity charging based on user-defined parameters. Four additional 15/20A 120V breakers handle lighter circuits. This eliminates a dedicated programmable distribution box and can reduce installation costs by thousands of dollars compared to an equivalent multi-component system.
The MN15-12KW-AIO operates in all three modes without requiring a different hardware configuration. In grid-tie mode it is UL1741SB certified for selling excess solar to the grid; in self-consumption mode it uses current transformers (CTs) to prioritize home loads and battery charging before export; and in off-grid mode it operates as a standalone power source with seamless battery backup transfer under 10ms. Generator input is built in, supporting whole-home standby backup. The unit can be stacked up to nine deep for expanded capacity in larger commercial or multi-dwelling applications.
The MN15-12KW-AIO is designed for 48V battery banks using lithium-ion (including LiFePO4) or lead-acid chemistries. It communicates with BMS units over RS485/CAN and with revenue-grade meters via DRM/RS485. For grid-tied applications it supports AC coupling and is approved for HECO interconnection in Hawaii in addition to mainland UL1741SB markets. The integrated generator input accepts AC coupling for standby use. For large commercial builds, nine units can be stacked, and Midnite's Battery Temp Sensor is included with every unit to protect battery life across temperature extremes. Operating temperature range is -13°F to 140°F (-25°C to 60°C), with derating above 113°F (45°C). Maximum operating altitude is 9,843 ft. (3,000 m).
The Midnite Power MN15-12KW-AIO addresses a real gap in the all-in-one inverter market: most units top out at 500VDC PV input and lack an integrated programmable load-management panel. By accepting the full NEC-allowable 600VDC and replacing a standalone distribution box with built-in programmable branch breakers, the MN15-12KW-AIO simplifies both system design and permitting. Backed by a 10-year warranty and Midnite's track record in the North American solar industry, it is a purpose-built solution for installers who need a single UL1741SB-certified unit that handles grid-tie, self-consumption, and off-grid operation without compromise.
