The Phocos PSW-H-3KW-120/24V is a 3,000VA pure sine wave hybrid solar inverter charger that integrates an MPPT solar charge controller, AC battery charger, and grid/generator transfer switch into a single UL1741-certified unit for 24VDC systems. Designed for flexible deployment across off-grid, grid-tied, and unreliable-grid conditions, it operates as a UPS, a solar self-consumption device, or a battery-free grid-reduction unit—adapting to whatever energy sources are available.
Most inverter chargers require a standalone MPPT charge controller wired between the solar array and battery bank, adding hardware cost, wiring complexity, and a second point of failure. The PSW-H-3KW-120/24V includes a high-voltage MPPT controller rated to 250Vdc, which allows PV modules to be strung in series rather than requiring parallel strings with a combiner box, string fuses, or blocking diodes. The charge controller continues operating independently even when the inverter is switched off, keeping the battery bank fully charged during periods when AC output is not needed.
