REC460AA PURE-RX is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. REC engineers made the ALPHA® PURE-RX series durable and efficient while minimizing the amount of useful space required for their operation.

To further boost the performance, REC employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 88 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants REC460AA PURE-RX lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. Given its size and weight, REC460AA PURE-RX efficiency of 22.1% is quite impressive. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Cell surface, back foil and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. REC provides 25 years of product warranty and guarantees that after 25 years, performance will be at 92% or more.

Higher efficiency of up to 22.1%

REC460AA PURE-RX guarantees the highest power output. REC heterojunction cells with gapless technology and potent antireflective coating result in 22.1% module efficiency. This is significantly higher than average, which will result in substantial extra savings over the years of operation.

Excellent performance in adverse weather

Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. REC460AA PURE-RX loses just -0.24% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

Reliability and degradation resistance

REC460AA PURE-RX is PID, salt, acid, and ammonia resistant. It can also bear mechanical loads of up to 8000 Pa on the front and 6000 Pa on the back. This durability is mostly owing to the 1.2" thick black anodised aluminium frame and a layer of protective glass.

The panel features all-black design which looks great on any roof. The manufacturer ensures excellent cell color by special treatment and selection processes. REC engineers use thinner wires to connect the cells together, and at a distance the surface of the modules appears smooth and uninterrupted.
