The Rubix Giga Stack Series Base & Lid RGSBASE is the required mounting and protective enclosure accessory for the Giga Stack Series battery family, compatible with both the RGS51100 (100Ah) and RGS51200 (205Ah) battery modules. The base establishes the mandatory horizontal installation position and integrates a universal wheel for stack positioning during setup; the lid provides a protective top cover for the uppermost battery in the stack. Both models in the Giga Stack Series use the same base and lid — a single RGSBASE serves either configuration.

Required for compliant installation

Giga Stack Series batteries are rated for horizontal installation with base unit only — operating a battery module without the base does not meet the installation specification and voids the intended mounting orientation. The RGSBASE solves this directly: the base positions the battery correctly at floor level, and the universal wheel allows a fully loaded stack to be rolled into its final position before the lid is placed. For solar battery storage builds involving multiple parallel stacks, one RGSBASE is required per stack.

• New stack installation: Every Giga Stack Series battery installation requires a base unit — the RGSBASE is needed before the first battery can be placed.
• Adding a second parallel stack: Each new stack in a parallel expansion requires its own base and lid; additional RGSBASE units are needed for each stack beyond the first.
• Replacement: If a base or lid is damaged or lost, the RGSBASE is the direct replacement for both Giga Stack models without any hardware substitution.
• Pre-staging a battery bank: The universal wheel allows a configured stack to be moved and positioned during installation without unpacking individual battery modules.

Fits both Giga Stack models

The RGSBASE is compatible with the full Giga Stack Series lineup — the RGS51100 (100Ah, 48V, up to 6 units per stack) and the RGS51200 (205Ah, 48V, up to 4 units per stack) both mount on the same base and use the same lid. Installations mixing Giga Stack model variants in separate parallel stacks can use the same RGSBASE for each. The base and lid are not compatible with the Stack Series (RS51100/RS25200) or R-Series (RRS51280) battery lines, which use different enclosure hardware.
