TSM DE09 C07 is part of the Vertex S Series — one of the most recent made by Trina Solar. These panels employ cutting-edge technologies to achieve superior efficiency and reliability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.
Half-cut cell technology adds a few more percent to the overall performance, making this model a great example of efficiency. Trina Solar made solar cells in TSM DE09 C07 two times smaller than the standard size, thus reducing power loss and improving low-light behavior. As a result, the panel achieves an impressive efficiency of 20.3%. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Cell surface, back foil and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. An already high efficiency of 20.3% is further enhanced by PERC technology. By adding a solid PID resistance and special glass lamination on top, the manufacturer ended up with an efficient and very durable model. Under standard test conditions, TSM DE09 C07 outputs 390 W of power.
