About product
M108(HCBF) is a model that uses a number of technologies to bring durability and performance to the next level. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.
The use of half-cut cell technology is an additional perk. The solar cells of M108(HCBF) are half the size of those found in standard panels. Major advantages include reduced power consumption, extended life and enhanced efficiency in low-light conditions. At 20.8% efficiency, M108(HCBF) offers surprising performance for its weight and size. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Cell surface, back foil and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. Philadelphia Solar provides a 25-year product warranty. Stable power output is also guaranteed — performance warranty will protect you during 25 years.
The PERC technology further improves an already excellent efficiency of 20.8 percent. A reliable PID resistance and a unique glass lamination were added by the maker, which ultimately produced a model that was effective and extremely durable. M108(HCBF) produces 405 W of power under typical test settings.
Excellent temperature coefficient means more energy as temperature rises. Every 1.8°F hike above 77°F will decrease your panel’s efficiency by only -0.35%.
Multiple tests are part of the Philadelphia Solar tight production requirements, which offer the highest level of quality assurance. Because of the facilities' high degree of automation, the business is able to uphold strict standards and minimize the number of warranty claims to an absolute minimum.
In the first year of service, these panels will lose no more than 0.5% of their power output. The average yearly power drop from the second to the 25th year will be no more than 0.50%. After 25 years, the modules will retain more than 87.5% of their initial output.
M108(HCBF) is PID, salt, acid, and ammonia resistant. It can also bear mechanical loads of up to 5400 Pa on the front and 2400 Pa on the back. This durability is mostly owing to the 1.18" thick anodized aluminum frame and a layer of protective glass.
The sleek, all-black aesthetics of the panel will complement any rooftop. By using a variety of treatments and selection criteria, the producer guarantees high quality cell color. Engineers at Philadelphia Solar employ smaller gauge wires to link the cells together, creating a seamless appearance.
