The SMA "-41" Series Sunny Boy inverter, featuring direct smartphone access, Secure Power Supply, and a SunSpec signal transmitter chip, is one of the most versatile and reliable residential inverters available. Combine this series with the SMA-TS4-R-F in order to build cost-effective NEC 2017 PV RSS compliant string systems. Alternatively, you can pair it with SMA-TS4-R "-S" / "-O" (and comms gateway) to provide module-level monitoring/optimization (respectively). There is an option to leave all the rooftop electronics behind and design the system to take full advantage of the Secure Power Supply (SPS feature not Compatible with Sunspec based PV RSS).
A 10-year warranty is standard, 15 and 20-year warranty extensions are available.
