Solaria PowerXT 350W Solar Panel

We have 2 x Solaria 400w panels on our monohull sailboat, fastened atop an aft solar arch that doubles as a dinghy davit system. Each panel feeds to their own Victron 100/50 controller for redundancy. We bought these over 2 years ago at ~$400 apiece and would absolutely replace with the same if need be as they work like a charm and look fantastic in all black unlike the doubly priced Renegy panels marketed as “marine” that most cruisers use. The allowance of charging even when partially shaded due to Solaria’s wiring setup also makes them ideal for boats where boom shading is an ever-present challenge. The original set we ordered were damaged in transit and replaced immediately by a1 at no extra charge to us, so shoutout to a1 for excellent customer support as well. My only regret is that we don’t have any storage space aboard to keep more of these panels as backups should the need ever arise!

I try to select what time or days that I need more power. Hot water system runs when I turn it on, not off-peak. A good system, I am quite happy with it so far. Hoping it keeps working top grade for years to come, even with a cold winter and price rises on the way. I still believe the system will keep in front.

Best panels we ever had to install

I wanted fewer panels, but with high efficiency. Three months in, they are meeting the original projections. I want to see how they perform over the next 12 months, particularly in the winter.

Very efficient panels with an excellent power output. I was able to get fewer panels and still generate an adequate energy to provide my household with enough electricity.

These panels were recommended to us, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to return them after purchase. The return policy made it very easy for us, the restocking fee is quite reasonable for a big purchase like this.

These panels are so beautiful! They made my house look so good.

I know it was a big investment for me, these panels are more expensive than some of the other brands, but I am glad I went with them. They seem very durable and for sure are very efficient.
