Philadelphia Solar made solar cells in PS-M108(HCBF)-400W two times smaller than the standard size, thus reducing power loss and improving low-light behavior. At 20.5% efficiency, PS-M108(HCBF)-400W offers surprising performance for its weight and size. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. The innovations made the appearance of the panel as impressive as the specs. A mere 1.18" thick, this model is completely black with a smooth surface. Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.
Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?
While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.
Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?
Solar panels cannot produce electricity if covered with snow.
