The SolarEdge SE11400H-US000BEU4 is an 11,400W SolarEdge HD wave inverter built for residential solar systems at the top of the single-phase output range, combining 99% CEC weighted efficiency with built-in revenue grade production metering and consumption metering in a single unit. Designed exclusively to work with SolarEdge power optimizers, this Home Wave Inverter operates at a fixed 380V nominal DC input voltage — enabling longer strings and simpler DC wiring than traditional MPPT string inverters — and ships ready for commissioning via the SolarEdge SetApp mobile application.
Note: The "BEU4" suffix in this part number indicates the inverter includes both revenue grade production metering (0.5% accuracy, ANSI C12.20) and consumption metering (1% accuracy). Consumption metering requires separately ordered current transformers (SEACT0750-200NA-20 or SEACT0750-400NA-20). If metering is not required, a base model without this suffix is available.
Note: This inverter requires SolarEdge power optimizers on every module. It is not compatible with standard string configurations or third-party optimizers, and will not operate without optimizers installed.
Unlike conventional MPPT string inverters that track voltage across a wide DC input window, the SE11400H-US operates at a fixed 380V nominal DC bus maintained by the SolarEdge power optimizer network. This fixed voltage architecture allows longer strings — up to 480V maximum — reducing the number of strings and DC home runs required on large residential rooftops. HD-Wave technology performs the DC-to-AC conversion using a novel switching algorithm that substantially reduces the magnetic components inside the inverter, which is how SolarEdge achieves a 99% CEC weighted efficiency rating in a compact, lightweight enclosure that can be mounted indoors or outdoors.
The SE11400H-US000BEU4 requires SolarEdge power optimizers on every PV module — the fixed DC bus voltage and module-level monitoring are both delivered by the optimizer network, not the inverter alone. DC input accepts 1 to 3 strings via 1-inch maximum conduit with 14–6 AWG conductors; AC output uses 1-inch maximum conduit with 14–4 AWG. The inverter supports both 240V and 208V AC output, making it compatible with standard North American residential split-phase services as well as some light commercial 208V single-phase applications. Consumption metering requires the addition of current transformers (sold separately: SEACT0750-200NA-20 or SEACT0750-400NA-20).
