About product

Alps Solar ALPS72D30T-TP-580 is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. Alps Solar engineers made the N-type series durable and efficient while minimizing the amount of useful space required for their operation. The Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology ensures excellent power output. This solar cell type employs an additional reflective layer to absorb more sunlight.

Half-cut cell technology adds a few more percent to the overall performance, making this model a great example of efficiency. Alps Solar made solar cells in ALPS72D30T-TP-580 two times smaller than the standard size, thus reducing power loss and improving low-light behavior. As a result, the panel achieves an impressive efficiency of 22.44%. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Alps Solar provides a 25-year product warranty. Stable power output is also guaranteed — performance warranty will protect you during 30 years.

  • 580 W power output
  • 144 half-cut PERC cells
  • 22.44% efficiency
  • 1500 V DC maximum system voltage
  • MC4-(QC4.10)
  • 25-year product and 30-year performance warranties

High efficiency of 22.44%

Alps Solar N-type panels have a high efficiency of 22.44 percent and take full advantage of the company's technologies, which have won Alps Solar several honors. This PERC option produces more electricity per square foot of PV modules. This translates to shorter installation times and fewer clamps and racks. All of this lowers your overall expenditures and shortens the payback period.

Heat-resistant performance

This module makes the heat less dangerous since it has one of the lowest temperature coefficients in the market, losing just -0.29% of efficiency for every 1.8°F over 77°F.

High quality standards

Multiple tests are part of the Alps Solar tight production requirements, which offer the highest level of quality assurance. Because of the facilities' high degree of automation, the business is able to uphold strict standards and minimize the number of warranty claims to an absolute minimum.

Reliability and degradation resistance

Alps Solar guarantees slow deterioration over the next 30 years. The performance will decline by no more than 1% during the first year and then by no more than 0.40% every year after that. After the 30 years are over, your modules will retain at least 87.4% of their original performance. This 580 W Alps Solar solar panel also comes with a substantial 25-year product warranty.

Enhanced frame design

ALPS72D30T-TP-580 design makes it ideal for residential and commercial rooftops. Strong 1.38" frame made from anodized aluminum alloy increases durability and strength. The model can support a heavy snow load up to 5400 Pa. The back of the panel can handle 2400 Pa, ensuring that your system will survive the strongest of winds.

FAQ

How much is shipping and how long is delivery?
Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. In the event, the product is only available on East or West coast custom quote will be sent to you before the order is processed. Normally, we are able to deliver solar panels within 7 business days.
What is the difference between low price panels and top price panels?
With top tier solar panels, you pay for the brand name, proprietary new technology, higher energy output, and better warranty support.
What are the dimensions of the panel?
Please refer to the product datasheet on the product page. We have a datasheet for every product we sell.
How long is the warranty on the panel?
In general, manufacturers provide a 25 year-long performance warranty and a 10 year-long equipment guarantee. Some manufacturers offer 12-15 years of warranty. More information is available in our warranty support section.
Which panels do you recommend for RV, marine?
We recommend Panasonic and Mission Solar panels for smaller systems as their high energy output and excellent craftsmanship guarantee years of service.
Can this panel be used with a 12v system?
Any of our panels can be used for a 12v system with a properly selected inverter and charge controller.
Can I pick up this panel from your fulfillment center to save on shipping?
Yes, we can set up a pick up at a local distributor. Please call to discuss options and stock availability.
How do I connect these panels?
To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.
How many panels do I need?
This number is determined by your average energy needs. Depending on the type of panels and energy consumption, you might need anywhere from 12 to 45 solar panels. Remember, the more panels you install the more energy you will get. Please use our solar calculator to estimate your energy consumption and plan on building a solar system that will exceed your energy needs by 25%.
