Among the newest offerings of Seraphim, SEG-450-BMA-BG is part of the Seraphim series. These panels use state-of-the-art technology to achieve high efficiency and dependability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells. 

Another advantage is the half-cut cell technology. SEG-450-BMA-BG has solar cells half the size of those installed in conventional panels. The main benefits are decreased power loss, improved longevity and better low-light performance. The efficiency of this model reaches 20.7% — well above the market’s average. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Seraphim provides 15 years of product warranty and guarantees that after 30 years, performance will be at 83.5% or more.

SEG-450-BMA-BG ensures maximum power production. The combination of PERC technology and a powerful anti reflective coating results in 20.7 percent module efficiency. This is much greater than the average, resulting in significant extra savings over the years of production.

Exceptional performance in scorching weather

At high working temperatures, a low temperature coefficient equals increased energy generation. Every 1.8°F over 77°F results in a model's efficiency loss of just 0.35 percent.

I have a off grid cabin with no electricity. I’m set up with 4 deep cycle batteries run in a series set up as a 48v system. I’m looking for a solar setup to keep the batteries charged when I’m not using the cabin. What kind of system would you recommend. Thanks, Michael
A small to medium-sized off-grid system seems like a good option in your case. However, a lot will depend on the energy requirements of your cabin and the size of your battery bank.
Does 1 panel generate 450 watts?
It should generate approximately that during peak sun hours, but a lot will depend on the weather, orientation and angle.
