GSTAR GSP6G60M-360BT is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. GSTAR engineers made the MARS series durable and efficient while minimizing the amount of useful space required for their operation. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.

To further boost the performance, GSTAR employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 120 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants GSP6G60M-360BT lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. As a result, the panel achieves an impressive efficiency of 19.76%. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Novel design solutions allow this panel to look as well as it performs. This model is just 1.4" in depth and is jet black with a sleek finish. The panel's functionality and durability are not affected by its aesthetic appeal though. NPBC modules typically achieve higher efficiencies than conventional solar cells, but require more precise manufacturing processes and typically come at a premium price point.
