About product
The SolarEdge SE7600H-US is a 7,600W single-phase Energy Hub Inverter built on HD-Wave Prism Technology, designed for residential solar systems that require DC-coupled battery storage and optional whole-home backup. Operating as a central energy management hub, it combines PV generation, battery charging and discharging, consumption monitoring, and direct EV charger integration in a compact wall-mount enclosure — and supports multi-inverter stacking for homes that need more storage power than a single unit can deliver.
Most homeowners adding battery backup face a layered installation — a solar inverter, then a separate hybrid or AC-coupled battery inverter, then a transfer switch. The SE7600H-US consolidates all of this into one device. Because the battery charges at DC voltage directly from the PV array before conversion, round-trip losses are lower than AC-coupled alternatives, and the system avoids the double-conversion inefficiency of stacking two inverters. The modular architecture means the unit ships as a solar inverter and can be upgraded incrementally — adding battery, then backup, then consumption monitoring — without replacing the base unit.
The SE7600H-US requires SolarEdge power optimizers on all PV strings — it is not compatible with non-optimized arrays or third-party microinverters. On the battery side, part numbers containing -USxM- support SolarEdge Energy Bank only; part numbers containing -USxN- add compatibility with LG RESU Prime. The listed SKU (SE7600H-USSNBBL14) uses the SN position, confirming support for both battery types. Backup operation requires the Backup Interface unit (sold separately), is rated for service panels up to 200A, and is only available on 240V grid connections — 208V backup is not supported on this model. The Smart EV Charger connects via SolarEdge Energy Net. Communications are supported over RS485, Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi or cellular. AC and EV output wiring accepts 14–4 AWG; DC PV and battery inputs accept 14–6 AWG, both in 1-inch maximum conduit.
The SE7600H-US is the right mid-range Energy Hub choice for homes that need solar, storage, and backup capability from a single device — without oversizing to the 10kW tier. At 7,600W with 200% DC oversizing headroom and stackable multi-inverter support, it handles both the present system and future expansion without a hardware swap. The DC-coupled battery architecture, built-in revenue-grade metering, and integrated NEC-compliant shutdown make it a cleaner installation than assembling equivalent functionality from separate components, and the 12–25 year warranty covers the investment for the life of most residential solar arrays.
