Among the newest offerings of Axitec, 550MH-144V is part of the AC series. These panels use state-of-the-art technology to achieve high efficiency and dependability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.
Another advantage is the half-cut cell technology. 550MH-144V has solar cells half the size of those installed in conventional panels. The main benefits are decreased power loss, improved longevity and better low-light performance. Not surprisingly, the efficiency of this module is quite high – 21.29%. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Axitec provides a 15-year product warranty. Stable power output is also guaranteed — performance warranty will protect you during 25 years.
Axitec AC panels take full advantage of the company’s technologies that have won Axitec multiple awards. This PERC option offers higher power output per square foot of PV modules. This means quicker installation times and fewer clamps and racks. All of which reduces your overall costs, shortening the payback time.
A high temperature coefficient translates to more energy as the temperature rises. Every 1.8°F increase over 77°F reduces the efficiency of your panel by just -0.35%.
