This has been my first experience with lithium batteries and chargers. I can only say that I've received outstanding customer support along the way. The battery and the charger work correctly. Long story short, all is well in my modest battery backup system. I plan to add more batteries in the future.

I have a 10800W DC, 10000W AC PV system using 2 SMA SB5.0 US inverters and would like to add Battery Back-up operation to my system. I have been looking at sunny Boy Storage and auto switching unit, my goal is to have power for my home during power outage during the day, and 12 to 18 hours critical load for inclement weather and night operation. do you have any recommendations? I put a BYD H in my cart but i'm not sure if that will do the trick.

Your system is quite large. One 2.5 kWh battery won't be enough. A solid backup would be 4-6 battery modules.

Can the lifepo4 be charged with a standard lead battery charger?
