The Axitec AXI(bi)premium XXL HC MW Series AC-550MBT/144V module uses a number of technologies to bring durability and performance to the next level.

The solar cells of AC-550MBT/144V are half the size of those found in standard panels. Major advantages include reduced power consumption, extended life and enhanced efficiency in low-light conditions. Given its size and weight, AC-550MBT/144V efficiency of 21.29% is quite impressive. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Axitec paid as much attention to durability as they did to performance. AC-550MBT/144V is guaranteed to retain at least 85% of output after 25 years. Product warranty for this panel lasts 15 years.

Increased power and efficiency

PERC technology improves on an already high efficiency of 21.29 percent. The manufacturer created an efficient and highly durable model by adding a robust PID resistance and unique glass lamination on top. AC-550MBT/144V produces 550 W of power under standard test conditions.

Heat-resistant performance

The heat is less of a threat with this module: with one of the lowest temperature coefficients in the industry, AC-550MBT/144V loses just -0.35% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

How much is shipping and how long is delivery?
Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.

How do solar panels compare?

Can I build a solar system by myself as a Do It Yourself project?
Yes, it is possible if you understand what solar equipment you need and how to connect it together. However, please be mindful that handling your own electrical work without having proper experience might cause life-threatening injuries. Can I connect and charge my solar panel battery directly with the solar panel?
We do not recommend using the solar panel without the charge controller. Using solar panels without the charge controller might damage the batteries.
Can I drill holes into the aluminum frame for mounting?
We do not recommend drilling any new holes to the aluminum frame of the panel as it could damage the internal circuit and solar cells. (Also, any modification to the panel will void the warranty). We recommend only using the pre-drilled holes for mounting.
Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panel?
Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.
Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?
While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.
Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?
