About product
Among the newest offerings of Canadian Solar, 6W-MB-AG-525 is part of the BiHiKu6 Mono series. These panels use state-of-the-art technology to achieve high efficiency and dependability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.
To further boost the performance, Canadian Solar employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 144 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants 6W-MB-AG-525 lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. The efficiency of this model reaches 20.4% — well above the market’s average. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Canadian Solar paid as much attention to durability as they did to performance. 6W-MB-AG-525 is guaranteed to retain at least 84.95% of output after 30 years. Product warranty for this panel lasts 12 years.
Canadian Solar BiHiKu6 Mono panels fully use the firm's innovations, which Canadian Solar has received several distinctions for. With PERC technology, more electricity can be produced per square foot of PV modules. As a result, there will be less clamps and racks required during installation. All of which lowers your overall expenses and accelerates the payback period.
Excellent temperature coefficient means more energy as temperature rises. Every 1.8°F hike above 77°F will decrease your panel’s efficiency by only -0.35%.
Canadian Solar strict manufacturing standards include multiple tests to provide extreme quality assurance. The facilities are highly automated, allowing the company to maintain high standards and keep the level of warranty claims very low.
Canadian Solar guarantees limited degradation over the ensuing 30 years. The performance will only degrade by a maximum of 2% the first year, and then only by a maximum of 0.45% yearly after that. After the 30 years are over, your modules will still show at least 84.95% of nominal capacity. A substantial 12-year product warranty is also included with this 525 W Canadian Solar solar panel.
PID, salt, acid and ammonia cannot harm 6W-MB-AG-525. Furthermore, it has a mechanical load resistance of up to 5400 Pa in the front and 2400 Pa in the back. A layer of protective glass and 1.38" thick anodized aluminum alloy frame are the primary reasons for its toughness.
