About product

CS3N-390MS is a model that uses a number of technologies to bring durability and performance to the next level. CS3N-390MS employs monocrystalline silicon — the most efficient material for converting sunlight into electricity. Each of the model's 132 solar cells consists of a single crystal, unlike cheaper polycrystalline cells that are made of multiple crystals melted together. As a result, not only are monocrystalline panels more efficient, but they are also more resistant to degradation. Half-cut cell technology adds a few more percent to the overall performance, making this model a great example of efficiency. Canadian Solar made solar cells in CS3N-390MS two times smaller than the standard size, thus reducing power loss and improving low-light behavior. Not surprisingly, the efficiency of this module is quite high – 19.2%. The innovations made the appearance of the panel as impressive as the specs. A mere 1.38" thick, this model is completely black with a smooth surface. This beauty doesn’t compromise the quality or reliability of the panel. Canadian Solar offers 25 years of product warranty and guarantees 86% of original performance after 25 years of operation.

Higher efficiency of up to 19.2%

CS3N-390MS guarantees the highest power output. monocrystalline technology and potent antireflective coating result in 19.2% module efficiency. This is significantly higher than average, which will result in substantial extra savings over the years of operation.

Excellent performance in adverse weather

Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. CS3N-390MS loses just 0.34% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

Quality and reliability

CS3N-390MS receives multiple quality checks throughout the manufacturing process and is subject to stringent quality and reliability testing. The manufacturing facilities are highly automated, eliminating the risk of human error. Canadian Solar is dedicated to quality, safety and reliability to ensure you get the very best.

Low degradation for a longer lifespan

These panels will lose no more than 2% of their power output in the first year of service. From the 2nd year to the 25th year, the average annual power decline will be no more than 0.50%. The module retains over 86% of its original output after 25 years. Guaranteed by Canadian Solar.

Certified for the most challenging environmental conditions

CS3N-390MS is resistant to PID, salt, acid and ammonia. It can also withstand up to 5400 Pa mechanical load on the front and 2400 Pa on the back. Such robustness is mainly due to the 1.38" thick anodized aluminum frame and a layer of protective glass.

Outstanding all-black design

The panel features all-black design which looks great on any roof. The manufacturer ensures excellent cell color by special treatment and selection processes. Canadian Solar engineers use thinner wires to connect the cells together, and at a distance the surface of the modules appears smooth and uninterrupted.
