The HiKu panel provides a great 440W power output with 19.9% efficiency which is better than average numbers on the market. High conversion rate allows you to build powerful installations with less space and less modules. 

Half-cut design increases durability and shading tolerance

The new Canadian Solar panel has 144 half-cut cells which makes it slightly larger than 60/120-cell panels and makes it more suitable for commercial projects. Half-cut cell design makes the panel sturdier and less susceptible to microcracks. What is more, it increases the shading tolerance of a panel, because the panel is split in two halves. It’s like having two small panels that are wired in parallel.

The panel is ready for bad weather

Canadian Solar panels are made to perform well in bad weather. They have always been doing well in low-light conditions, like on cloudy days and in the winter and the fall. At the same time they are durable enough to withstand heavy snow load up to 5400 Pa and wind load up to 3600 Pa.

Comes protected by warranties

The HiKu is accompanied by rather standard, but still nice warranties from Canadian Solar. The panel comes with a 12-year warranty on materials and workmanship and a 25-year performance warranty.
