The HiKu module is a fresh addition to the Canadian Solar product line. It’s a high-output solar panel for commercial and industrial installations.

The HiKu panel provides a great 440W power output with 19.9% efficiency which is better than average numbers on the market. High conversion rate allows you to build powerful installations with less space and less modules.

Half-cut design increases durability and shading tolerance

The new Canadian Solar panel has 144 half-cut cells which makes it slightly larger than 60/120-cell panels and makes it more suitable for commercial projects. Half-cut cell design makes the panel sturdier and less susceptible to microcracks. What is more, it increases the shading tolerance of a panel, because the panel is split in two halves. It’s like having two small panels that are wired in parallel.

The panel is ready for bad weather

Canadian Solar panels are made to perform well in bad weather. They have always been doing well in low-light conditions, like on cloudy days and in the winter and the fall. At the same time they are durable enough to withstand heavy snow load up to 5400 Pa and wind load up to 3600 Pa.

I have had these for two months and so far, I'm very happy. The change in performance on cloudy days is noticeable, but still much better than it is with my neighbor's panels!

Hi We’ve ordered a batch of these panels for our shop in Oregon. Even though it can get pretty cloudy here, the panels are doing fine. This is actually why I chose CS, because their panels are known to be good in bad weather. The service was excellent and i’m here just to thank you, peace
