To further boost the performance, Canadian Solar employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 132 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants CS6.2-66TB-605H lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. At 22.4% efficiency, CS6.2-66TB-605H offers surprising performance for its weight and size. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Canadian Solar CS6.2-66TB-605H panels have a high efficiency of 22.4 percent and take full advantage of the company's technologies, which have won Canadian Solar several honors. This TOPCon cell option produces more electricity per square foot of PV modules. This translates to shorter installation times and fewer clamps and racks. CS6.2-66TB-605H is resistant to PID, salt, acid and ammonia. It can also withstand up to 6000 Pa mechanical load on the front and 4000 Pa on the back. Such robustness is mainly due to the 1.57" thick anodized aluminum alloy frame and a layer of protective glass.
