The three pallets I ordered arrived on schedule and in good condition. I liked the fact that they were strapped to a very hefty timber pallet and were wrapped in minimal but sufficient paste-board. The panels are well built and look like they will accomplish my intended goal of doubling my output but I have to wait for spring thaw at my remote site before I can install and tie them in. That is why four stars for now.

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with the LG NeON R 395W solar panel. As an IT guy, I like to do my research before buying anything, and I have to say, this panel is top-notch. It's efficient, reliable, and produces a lot of power, even on cloudy days. I've had them installed for a few months now and I'm already seeing significant savings on my energy bill. Definitely recommend the model if you're in the market for a high-quality solar panels. The store can def work on their delivery. Even though it was technically within the specified time, I think 5 days is too long.

When I started looking for an off the grid power system for my cabin/garage in the north woods, I spent a lot of time shopping and browsing difference sites. I stopped shopping after calling A1 Solar. I stopped because it was all about customer service! How much is shipping and how long is delivery?

Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. In the event, the product is only available on East or West coast custom quote will be sent to you before the order is processed. Normally, we are able to deliver solar panels within 7 business days.

What is the difference between low price panels and top price panels?

With top tier solar panels, you pay for the brand name, proprietary new technology, higher energy output, and better warranty support.

What are the dimensions of the panel?

How long is the warranty on the panel?

In general, manufacturers provide a 25 year-long performance warranty and a 10 year-long equipment guarantee. Some manufacturers offer 12-15 years of warranty. More information is available in our warranty support section.

Which panels do you recommend for RV, marine?

We recommend Panasonic and Mission Solar panels for smaller systems as their high energy output and excellent craftsmanship guarantee years of service.

Can this panel be used with a 12v system?

Any of our panels can be used for a 12v system with a properly selected inverter and charge controller.

Can I pick up this panel from your fulfillment center to save on shipping?

How do I connect these panels?

To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.

How many panels do I need?

This number is determined by your average energy needs. Depending on the type of panels and energy consumption, you might need anywhere from 12 to 45 solar panels. How do solar panels compare?

Solar panels differ by power output, voltage, connection type, size, efficiency, and weight. Some solar panels might be sold together with microinverters as a set.

Can I build a solar system by myself as a Do It Yourself project?

Yes, it is possible if you understand what solar equipment you need and how to connect it together. However, please be mindful that handling your own electrical work without having proper experience might cause life-threatening injuries. Please contact a certified electrician if you do not possess appropriate electrical skills.

Can I connect and charge my solar panel battery directly with the solar panel?

We do not recommend using the solar panel without the charge controller. Using solar panels without the charge controller might damage the batteries.

Can I drill holes into the aluminum frame for mounting?

We do not recommend drilling any new holes to the aluminum frame of the panel as it could damage the internal circuit and solar cells. (Also, any modification to the panel will void the warranty). We recommend only using the pre-drilled holes for mounting.

Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panel?

Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.

Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?

While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.

Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?

Solar panels cannot produce electricity if covered with snow.

LG 395Q1C-A6 is a PV module fit for both residential and commercial applications. LG engineers made the NeON R series durable and efficient while minimizing the amount of useful space required for their operation. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.

LG employs full-sized solar cells for this model. Not surprisingly, the efficiency of this module is quite high – 21.8%. LG provides 25 years of product warranty and guarantees that after 25 years, performance will be at 92.5% or more.

395Q1C-A6 ensures maximum power production. 21.8 percent module efficiency is achieved using PERC technology and a powerful antireflective coating. This is much greater than the norm, resulting in significant additional savings throughout the years of operation.

Excellent performance in adverse weather

Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. 395Q1C-A6 loses just 0.24% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

Multiple tests are part of the LG tight production requirements, which offer the highest level of quality assurance. Because of the facilities' high degree of automation, the business is able to uphold strict standards and minimize the number of warranty claims to an absolute minimum.

Reliability and degradation resistance

LG guarantees slow deterioration over the next 25 years. The performance will decline by no more than 1.5% during the first year and then by no more than 0.25% every year after that. After the 25 years are over, your modules will retain at least 92.5% of their original performance. This 395 W LG solar panel also comes with a substantial 25-year product warranty.

A panel that can handle hail, wind and snow

The 1.57" frame built of anodized aluminum and a layer of protective tempered glass make this module weather-resistant. The front side of the modules can withstand a 5400 Pa load, whereas the back side can withstand a 4000 Pa load.
