I guess for this price range it is either this or panasonic... honestly I like REC more. the design, the performance, the quality — all top notch. Maybe they don’t do such an awesome job when it comes to dealing with shade, but it already feels like nitpicking.
They look so GOOD. Honestly, even if they didn’t do a thing, I'd still be glad to have them on my roof just to style on everyone. but boi, they do a lot. I don't even pay for electricity anymore.

I’ve been using these panels for half a year now. These aren’t my first panels, but these are certainly much more powerful than what I used back in the days. i chose them cause they age slower, so my children could make use of them in the future.

Speaking from experience, REC panels are goood. They cost a little extra, but bring in a lot of energy and are really sturdy as well! Here in Florida the weather can be harsh, but they never let me down.
I was told several times that REC panels are expensive, but honestly to me they are worth every penny. They look good! they look solid, reliable, not just like some cheap chinese crap. How much is shipping and how long is delivery?
Our standard shipping charge is $250 for up to 11 panels and it is increased by $25 for every 4 additional panels. In the event, the product is only available on East or West coast custom quote will be sent to you before the order is processed. Normally, we are able to deliver solar panels within 7 business days.
What is the difference between low price panels and top price panels?
With top tier solar panels, you pay for the brand name, proprietary new technology, higher energy output, and better warranty support.
What are the dimensions of the panel?
Please refer to the product datasheet on the product page. We have a datasheet for every product we sell.
How long is the warranty on the panel?
In general, manufacturers provide a 25 year-long performance warranty and a 10 year-long equipment guarantee. Some manufacturers offer 12-15 years of warranty. More information is available in our warranty support section.
Which panels do you recommend for RV, marine?
We recommend Panasonic and Mission Solar panels for smaller systems as their high energy output and excellent craftsmanship guarantee years of service.
Can this panel be used with a 12v system?
Any of our panels can be used for a 12v system with a properly selected inverter and charge controller.

How do I connect these panels?
To achieve the best system efficiency, panels should be connected in series to create higher voltage.
How many panels do I need?
This number is determined by your average energy needs. Depending on the type of panels and energy consumption, you might need anywhere from 12 to 45 solar panels. How do solar panels compare?
Solar panels differ by power output, voltage, connection type, size, efficiency, and weight. Some solar panels might be sold together with microinverters as a set.
Can I build a solar system by myself as a Do It Yourself project?
Yes, it is possible if you understand what solar equipment you need and how to connect it together. However, please be mindful that handling your own electrical work without having proper experience might cause life-threatening injuries. Please contact a certified electrician if you do not possess appropriate electrical skills.
Can I connect and charge my solar panel battery directly with the solar panel?
We do not recommend using the solar panel without the charge controller. Using solar panels without the charge controller might damage the batteries.
Can I drill holes into the aluminum frame for mounting?
We do not recommend drilling any new holes to the aluminum frame of the panel as it could damage the internal circuit and solar cells. (Also, any modification to the panel will void the warranty). We recommend only using the pre-drilled holes for mounting.
Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panel?
Solar panels generally require very little maintenance. We recommend cleaning the solar panel with water, glass cleaner (Windex) and microfiber cloth.
Will my panel produce power in an overcast condition?
While solar panels require sunlight to generate solar energy, they will still work in cloudy weather. Even on a cloudy day, solar panels will produce energy just not as much.
Will my panels produce power if covered with snow?
Solar panels cannot produce electricity if covered with snow.

REC410AA is part of the PURE2 Series — one of the most recent made by REC. These panels employ cutting-edge technologies to achieve superior efficiency and reliability. The Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology ensures excellent power output. This solar cell type employs an additional reflective layer to absorb more sunlight.
The use of half-cut cell technology is an additional perk. The solar cells of REC410AA are half the size of those found in standard panels. Major advantages include reduced power consumption, extended life and enhanced efficiency in low-light conditions. As a result, the panel achieves an impressive efficiency of 21.1%. Cell surface, back foil and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. REC paid as much attention to durability as they did to performance. REC410AA is guaranteed to retain at least 92% of output after 25 years. Product warranty for this panel lasts 25 years.

An already high efficiency of 21.1% is further enhanced by PERC technology. By adding a solid PID resistance and special glass lamination on top, the manufacturer ended up with an efficient and very durable model. Under standard test conditions, REC410AA outputs 410 W of power.
Improved performance at hot temperatures
A high temperature coefficient translates to more energy as the temperature rises. Every 1.8°F increase over 77°F reduces the efficiency of your panel by just -0.24%.

REC410AA is subject to rigorous quality and reliability testing as well as many quality checks throughout the production process. The level of automation in the manufacturing facilities virtually eliminates human error. To guarantee that you receive the finest, REC is committed to quality, safety and dependability.
Reliability and degradation resistance
REC guarantees slow deterioration over the next 25 years. The performance will decline by no more than 2% during the first year and then by no more than 0.25% every year after that. After the 25 years are over, your modules will retain at least 92% of their original performance. This 410 W REC solar panel also comes with a substantial 25-year product warranty.
A panel that can handle hail, wind and snow
The 1.2" frame built of anodized aluminum alloy and a layer of protective tempered glass make this module weather-resistant. The front side of the modules can withstand a 7000 Pa load, whereas the back side can withstand a 4000 Pa load.
