Great inverter, but software could be better. Spent many hours trying to set up the app to get it working only to have it go offline. Not very intuitive setup. Works 70% of the time and then just goes offline. Then all of a sudden it will connect again.

We have this wonderful piece of hardware hooked up to our 10 kW Solar system. Solid, responsive, easy to connect and monitor, what else to say. Happy with the purchase.

Upgraded our old 6.6kw setup to a 12.5kw solar system with a Fronius primo inverter. So far, so good. I love being able to monitor the stats in realtime through the app.

Can it be mounted on the roof next to the solar array?

Mounting inverters right next to the array on a rooftop is a popular approach with commercial PV systems. You can mount the Fronius Symo Advanced inverter completely flat on the roof. No extra mounting racks are needed.

All Fronius inverters are designed and manufactured in Europe. Fronius is an Austrian photovoltaics and battery charging company founded in 1945.
Are Fronius inverters noisy?

Fronius Primo and Symo inverters can cause noise up to 65 dB when working their hardest. It is slightly louder than the sound of normal conversation.
