About product
7N-TB-AG-US-690 is part of the CS Series — one of the most recent made by Canadian Solar. These panels employ cutting-edge technologies to achieve superior efficiency and reliability. This panel takes full advantage of the Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology that allows it to capture up to 12% more energy. All thanks to a reflective layer on the back. This design maximizes the number of photons absorbed by solar cells.
Another advantage is the half-cut cell technology. 7N-TB-AG-US-690 has solar cells half the size of those installed in conventional panels. The main benefits are decreased power loss, improved longevity and better low-light performance. The efficiency of this model reaches 22.2% — well above the market’s average. And while conventional panels use only one side to absorb photons, bifacial modules employ both sides at the same time. Thanks to the technology, this model can be up to 30% more efficient. Canadian Solar provides an industry-leading 30-year performance warranty and a 12-year product warranty.
7N-TB-AG-US-690 ensures maximum power production. 22.2 percent module efficiency is achieved using PERC technology and a powerful antireflective coating. This is much greater than the norm, resulting in significant additional savings throughout the years of operation.
Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. 7N-TB-AG-US-690 loses just -0.29% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.
Multiple tests are part of the Canadian Solar tight production requirements, which offer the highest level of quality assurance. Because of the facilities' high degree of automation, the business is able to uphold strict standards and minimize the number of warranty claims to an absolute minimum.
Slow degradation over the next 30 years is guaranteed by Canadian Solar. The performance will decrease no more than 2% during the first year and 0.25% annually thereafter. Your modules will retain at least 87.4% of original performance after the 30 years are over. This 690 W Canadian Solar solar panel also comes with a generous 12-year product warranty.
This module is weatherproof due to the 1.3" frame manufactured from anodized aluminum alloy and a layer of safety tempered glass. The modules' front and rear sides can withstand loads of 5400 and 2400 Pa, respectively.
