Trina Solar Tallmax 410W is a very powerful module designed primarily for commercial systems. Chinese engineers succeed in making a PV module with one of the highest power outputs on the solar market and a very affordable price.
The selling point of Trina panels is usually their power output and efficiency. Tallmax M 410W is no exception. This model reaches an efficiency of 20.4% and its rated power of 410W allows it to generate a lot of energy from a sq. ft. The performance of a panel makes it popular in commercial installations of a greater scale.
Trina engineers have worked a lot on improving the construction of a PV module and Tallmax M is a result that they can be proud of. Selective emitters and improved surface texturing allow Trina Solar Tallmax M solar panels to perform well even when there isn’t a lot of sunlight — in the morning, evenings and on cloudy days.
Among the innovations implemented in design of Tallmax M, there are half-cut cells and multi busbars. This allowed Trina to reduce power losses in cell connections, improve the flow of current inside a module and decrease the effect of microcracks on panel’s performance. The shading tolerance is higher than in conventional PV modules because of the split J-box location and string layout.
Trina PV modules lose about 0.5% of their wattage per year. As a result their solar panels are guaranteed to retain over 80% of their power output after 25 years.4
Trina Solar Tallmax M 410W solar panel isn't afraid of strong winds, snow loads or hail. Tests show that a module is capable of withstanding a 2400 Pa wind load, 5400 Pa snow load and 35mm hailstones accelerating at 60 mph.
The Tallmax M panel should retain at least 83.1% of its power output after 25 years in service.
