About product
Trina Solar 415W is a PV module that uses 144 half-cut cells manufactured using proven by time technologies. The model’s reliability, high efficiency, PID resistance and high wattage make it a good choice for commercial and industrial use, but residential clients can also reap the benefits it has to offer. Among the model’s strong sides are BOS costs reduction and improved low-light performance.
Trina Solar 415W is a monocrystalline module with a 20.4% efficiency, which is a long stretch ahead of what conventional panels have to offer. Trina Solar 415W has a low temperature coefficient of -0.36%, which means that the module’s efficiency decreases just 0.36% for every 1.8°F above 77°F. This helps to maximize the final energy output.
This model is certified to work under harsh conditions. Its front side can resist a load of up to 5,400 Pa and the rear has been tested for 2,400 Pa. Special coating makes the modules resistant to salt, acid, sand and ammonia.
With this panel, light induced degradation is less of a threat: you can expect an output drop of up to 1.9% in the first year of use, but starting from the second year it won’t exceed 0.6%. Finally, after year twenty five the panel will perform at 83.1% of its nameplate capacity or slightly better. The manufacturer also offers a 12 year product warranty.
