Q. PEAK DUO L-G8.2 425W is an ideal model for commercial and utility uses. It takes full advantage of groundbreaking Q.ANTUM DUO technology in combination with superior cell interconnection.
This module can boast a very low levelized cost of energy thanks to superior yields, which are guaranteed by 144 Q.ANTUM DUO mono half cells and a 12 busbar design. Being an ideal fit for solar plants due to lower BOS costs, this model can also be used in residential systems, providing German engineering quality at a competitive price.
A higher than average efficiency of 19.8% is advantageously complemented by Q.ANTUM DUO technology that reduces the amount of current flowing through each cell by 50%. This leads to significantly decreased optical and electrical losses, allowing for optimal performance in a wide range of temperatures.
Q CELLS implements Yield Security to make the performance last for decades: Anti-PID, Anti-LID, Hot-Spot Protection and Traceable Quality Tra.Q. This model also behaves extremely well in low-light and high-temperature conditions, which makes it very versatile.
A 35 mm lightweight frame made from aluminum alloy and 3.2 mm of thermally pre-stressed protective glass make sure this module won’t budge under the worst conditions. The front side of the modules can resist a 5400 Pa load, and the back side 2400 Pa.
Slow degradation over the next 25 years is guaranteed by the manufacturer. The output will suffer a decrease of no more than 2% during the first year and the module won’t lose more than 0.54% of performance annually thereafter. Your modules will conserve at least 85% of nameplate capacity 25 years later. The manufacturer also offers a 12 year product warranty.
